Hey hey hey! It's Tuesday, which means there's a brand new story up in the 'Tales' section of the site. We're also working our little hearts out on a digital version of the recently released Miss Blimey book 'We Sail at Midnight' so keep your eyes peeled for that one. Yes sir, it's all go here at camp Blimey as we keep up the pace through stormy seas so stay tuned for more piratey goodness coming your way...

A brand new digital magazine, Nothing to Nobody (or NtN) will be launching in 2-3 months. Not only will this bi-monthly digital publication feature a Miss Blimey story and illustration, but guest appearances from the German based Vampire lass, Nosfera can be expected. Other goodness will include kitsch, vintage, art, film, music, roller derby, pirates Vs ninjas Vs zombies and heaps more.
Check out the NtN blog, which is taking on page minding duties until the website launches in a few weeks…

I was lucky enough to attend the Tim Burton Exhibition official opening this morning. The exhibition itself is damn amazing! It features props, costumes, original art by Burton, themed seating areas and lots of stuff to gush over if you're a Burton fiend. Here's a few pics from the exhibition.

Victorian Roller Derby League on The Circle - some silly Channel 10 show - but I can tell you it was 40 degrees (celcius!) when they shot this and so the girls deserve a massive Arrrgh Me Hearty for that!

For those of you still in shock 'I Can't Believe it's not 696!' is the opportunity to come and say goodbye to 696 and a venue that holds so many memories for us all. So make sure you come down on Saturday the 12th Dec from 6-10pm for body painted models, live music and of course art from some of our favourite 696 artists! Although it is all coming to an end make sure you still make it down to our last few shows and really send them off with a bang!

Sending out massive props and congratulations to Wooden Toy creative assassin Timba Smits for making it into the finals of the Realise Your Dream competition held by the British Council. Things have been rather slap-dash and hectic here on the Seven and a Half Seas of late. Many Blimey developments are in the works and it feels hard to keep up sometimes. A newer than new version of the website is shaping up as we speak and there will be a brand new, not yet released Blimey tale in issue 7 of Wooden Toy - due out Early October. Miss Blimey is back once again supporting the Insomnia Skateboards annual horror fest and skateboard comp to be held the day before Halloween (coincidentally Miss Blimey's birthday!) at the Riverslide Skate Park in conjunction with a super cool Supra demo - and there's even more stuff to come but we shall save that for antoher time! Arrrgh! xox
