Miss Blimey and Betty H.V were practising their sword skills on the deck of the Raven when Betty hates Veronica spotted something that was enough to ruin anybodies late night cutlass practice.

"Bloody Heck! The Obscurity's heading our way!" yelled Betty hates Veronica to her captain.

"What? It can't be. I heard Etype was on holiday," growled Miss Blimey, not at all impressed.

"Well unless someone has stolen his ship I'd say he's working up a storm, comin' this way," replied Betty hates Veronica.

"That bastard, he spoils everything that's good and pure. Just be ready for him, if he's drunk we might be able to sail right past him," advised Miss Blimey.

The girls both made their way up to the helm where they could get a good view of the Obscurity and watch for signs of likely inebriation. Slowly and a little crookedly, the ship moved towards them. Miss Blimey sighed in relief. It seemed that Etype was drunk after all and would probably coast right past them.

This respite was short lived, however, when Miss Blimey soon realised that the drunken fool at the helm of the Obscurity was about to sail his ship right into the Raven.

"Watch out!" yelled out Miss Blimey.

"Ahhhhhh!" screamed the Captain of the Obscurity.

"Betty H.V, take the helm, I have to get over to that boat and steer her away!" screamed Miss Blimey in a rage.

The ships were just about to smack into each other as Miss Blimey swung aboard the Obscurity, landing conveniently near to the helm. Shoving Vincent roughly out of the way Miss Blimey grabbed the helm of the Obscurity and pulled the wheel to the right with all her strength. The boat screached silently but groaned outwardly as it swerved sharply away from the Raven. Miss Blimey wrestled with the ship as though they were both locked in a battle to the death. The Raven was more important to her than anything right now and she was not going to let it get damaged by some drunk driver. Vincent flew down the stairs which led up top the helm deck and rolled across the hard wood of the main deck, crashing into the main sail. He moaned softly and then consciousness left his mind to it's own blank devices.

Meanwhile Betty Hates Veronica was struggling to get the Raven out of harms way herself. Lost in the moment she had no time to think. She could see her captain at the helm of the Obscurity, and sighed in relief as the opposing boat finally slid past the Raven, just missing the her by a thread.

Miss Blimey jumped down from the helm and threw the lever that released the anchor, stopping the Obscurity gently in her sail. She then turned to the ships captain who was slumped against the main sail, seemingly in a drunken stupor. She had not seen Vincent get thrown down the stairs and at this stage thought he was actually Etype. Miss Blimey it must be said, was not in a generous mood and stormed over the unconscious form.

As she approached Vincent, her pace suddenly slowed and she stopped suddenly as she caught sight of the slumped man's face. Miss Blimey was now looking down upon her former lover. This could not be real. Miss Blimey ran over to Vincent and cradled him in her arms, desperately she wanted him to open his eyes and see her. A rush of excitement coursed through her as she stared at his handsome face in the moonlight, and slowly his eyes opened.

"You nearly wrecked my ship," she said thickly as Vincent gently cupped her face in both his hands and kissed her.

Back aboard the Raven, Betty hates Veronica had also dropped anchor and was now watching the scene unfold aboard the Obscurity. Her mouth dropped open in shock as she watched her captain kissing who she thought, from this distance, was the rapscallion Etype Jagwar.
