The storm had been raging for an hour, the winds lashed at the sails in a panic whilst the waves attacked the Raven from below. Miss Blimey gripped the helm ferociously as she tried to keep standing against the rain. Betty hates Veronica stumbled about deck trying to keep the rest of the ship under control. Suddenly a bolt of lightening hit the main sail, tearing a gaping hole in the fabric. Miss Blimey felt the jolt and lost her grip on the helm, falling backwards as if in slow motion, she hit the wet boards of the deck. Everything went black for Miss Blimey, and when she awoke the storm had passed, but she did not remember it. Nor did she recognise the beautiful girl standing beside the bed. Miss Blimey sat up slowly, and took in the room. It was warm, the sun streamed in through the portal and traced it's fingers across the bed covers. In the corner was a desk, and to her right some shelves filled with various bit and pieces. Betty hates Veronica pushed Miss Blimey gently back on the bed and told her to rest.
"But who are you and where am I?" asked Miss Blimey in a daze.
"Who am I? What do you mean, I'm your best friend, this is your ship, you're Miss Blimey!" stated Betty H.V.
"Miss Blimey?" asked Miss Blimey, obviously confused.
"Yes, you're a pyrate," clarified Betty H.V.
"A pyrate? I am not!" stated Miss Blimey. "How can you say this to me, I don't even know you."
"Stop saying that, come on, you must remember the storm last night, you bumped your head, that's all" explained Betty hates Veronica growing more worried by the minute.
"A storm? Hmmmm, no it's nice and bright outside look, there was no storm," replied Miss Blimey.
"You better sleep, I'm taking you to see someone about this OK?" asked Betty H.V.
"Whatever you say," smiled Miss Blimey and promptly passed out.
The next morning as Betty H.V pulled the Raven into port Miss Blimey joined her at the helm.
"So Betty H.V what are we doing today? I didn't know we were docking here, what happened to the main sail?" she said
"You remember me?" asked Betty H.V.
"Of course I do silly, how could I forget?" Miss Blimey countered.
"But yesterday you didn't know me, the ship or anything, you hit your head and forgot everything," explained Betty H.V.
"That explains the bump on my head, but what about the main sail?" asked Miss Blimey.
"It was the storm, we can get it mended here, and you better see a doctor," said Betty H.V.
"Ah yes, I hit my head on the deck..... I suppose I should see someone about it, after all how can I continue to be the most feared pirate on the high seas if I go forgetting my first mate and my lovely ship!" agreed Miss Blimey.
The End
