Many years ago Miss Blimey was no pirate at all, and was a simple girl living in a friendly, if somewhat jaded community. Her name was _____, but that is not important at this stage. The town in which she lived was fairly conventional and followed the traditions of old. Male warriors were trained by females and vice versa in the ways of the pagans for such were the traditions the village followed.
Miss Blimey's father was in fact a great Shaman of the village and it was often he who the town's folk came to for advice and healing. Miss Blimey's mother had once been the town harlot but had since redeemed her ways in the eyes of the villages by marrying the Shaman. Hence this is where Miss Blimey drew both her sassiness and her even temper.
As you have read previously next to their town was a village in which dwelled the Zombie folk, and peace reigned between them. Miss Blimey did indeed have a forbidden relationship with one of the Zombie boys, Vincent Blackshadow, which led to the slaughter of much of the Zombie folk, though this is not the cause of her piratical ways.
Shortly after she fled the village, believing Vincent to be perished, she came into the service of Captain Bottle Green Beard Mayhem, a local smuggler who took her under his wing and taught her the code of the high seas. Many times it was as well that he tried to teach her the carnal ways of lusty old men, but Miss Blimey was not interested in that.
After 9 months of quiet servitude, with many a dirty old man slap rendered, Miss Blimey struck out on her own and came to the island of Buckleswash. A treacherous place filled with all manner of scoundrels and rapscallions. It was here she met Captain Blade for the first time, and when this handsome ner do well tried to teach her the carnal ways of piratical behaviour Miss Blimey gave in whole heartedly. Who wouldn't? Captain Blade was indeed a scoundrel to be lusted after by any wench! At any rate they soon parted also when Miss Blimey realised that Blade's scoundrelous ways would forever override any sense of sensibility he might have. Blade has pursued Miss Blimey ever since, because boys always want what they cannot posses it seems.
From Buckleswash Miss Blimey hitched her way to Worsted, another home for miscreants, where she learned the hardness which would serve her well. Mercy had no place on the high seas, and Miss Blimey was now almost ready to face the bright new future before her. It was at this time that she took her namesake.
Of course in between there were many other incidents, which kept Miss Blimey on the run, but they are tales for another time.
Miss Blimey accepted a first mate-ship aboard the Verdante. The Captain, Miserablesod, was a half crazed drunken loon it's true, but there was no better teacher for the ways of piracy than he. Miss Blimey spent 2 years aboard the Verdante, honing her skill with the blade and sleight of hand until one day, which happened to be a Friday the 13th of something or other, Captain Miserablesod came to her and told her it was time to find her own ship and chucked her overboard. Miss Blimey never forgot this rejection, but was thankful each day for it because it gave her the incentive she finally needed to branch out on her own.....
Not long after she found herself at the Deadcat tavern, in a vicious card game, involving all manner of bets from beach front hotels to souls, when a bet was made that would change Miss Blimey's life forever after. At the table was crazy old Betty Smith, a known drunkard and crazy gambler. Betty was on a winning streak for once in her life and coming up to this final hand of cards, she bet it all on one hand. Including a ship she somehow seemed to own. The Raven. A marvellous vessel, which Miss Blimey had long coveted. To cut this tale to the point, the final card fell and Betty lost her hand, along with her head. The Raven had a new Captain. Miss Blimey.....
The End
