A cool breeze was blowing across the bow of the Raven as Miss Blimey left Betty hates Veronica in charge of the helm so she could survey the surrounding ocean for trouble, and do a little fishing. Nothing was biting that day, however, and Miss Blimey was typically bored. That normal sort of everyday bored which does your head in and eventually you have to drink 15 shots of Wild Turkey to snap yourself out of it otherwise you go insane. No one needed that right now. Miss Blimey sighed and scanned the horizon one more time, and then she saw it. Mother of Gosh what a sight it was, never seen before, a true ghost ship! All see through and shimmery, floating gently just above the water on course towards the Raven.

"Ho, Betty H.V! Company coming our way!" shouted Miss Blimey.

"Well it had to happen sooner or later, I'll get the ship ready," replied Betty hates Veronica and commenced her ship readiness duties.

"I don't know what to expect from this lot, really, never heard of a shimmery ghost ship in these parts," stated Miss Blimey.

"You'll know what to do," replied Betty hates Veronica. The ghost ship approached and pulled up, not next to the Raven but inside it.

"Eh! Just what do you think you're doing you scurvy sea dogs?!" shouted Miss Blimey, thoroughly annoyed.

"Oh, sorry my lady, bit rusty you see, we have been travelling many miles across this fair sea in search of the one thing that can save us," explained the ghost Captain.

"So who are you and what do you need so badly that you moor inside my ship?" asked Miss Blimey.

"We are the Ghosts of Malapropism, and we seek...." The Captain trailed off, mysteriously.

"Yes, go on," urged Miss Blimey.

"We seek, a cup of sugar!" finished the Captain with a flourish.

"Right.... and this will save you how?" asked Miss Blimey.

"We do not know for sure, but we need it for our tea," stated the Captain

Miss Blimey was beginning to loose her patience, but she knew she could not defeat the Ghosts of Malapropism in battle.

"Look, I'll give you a cup of sugar, but I don't think it's going to help you," offered Miss Blimey.

"Thank-you fair lady, now we can have our tea and pass on to the next world," said the Captain gallantly.

Good as her word, Miss Blimey passed a cup of sugar to the Captain, and watched in disbelief as the ghost ship disappeared into thin air. "Well what do you know," said Miss Blimey and steered the Raven into the sunset.

The End
