Miss Blimey stared at the screen in front of her. She'd just purchased her first Mac and was trying to get the bastard to work. It wasn't easy. The Raven had originally been an analogue based ship and the changeover to modern technology was causing both Miss Blimey and the Raven a considerable amount of pain.

"I miss vinyl," stated Betty hates Veronica as she peered over Miss Blimey's shoulder and tried to make sense of the computer screen.

"I know what you mean," replied Miss Blimey. After several hours considerable hard slog Miss Blimey finally had the Raven online. "There, done" said Miss Blimey as Betty hates Veronica joined her in the galley.

"Why have you set this up in the kitchen?" asked Betty hates Veronica.

"When do we actually use this room?" countered Miss Blimey.

"Good point," replied Betty hates Veronica and then turned in horror as the whole place began to go crazy.

"My god! That apple is out of control! We have to offline it, NOW!" shouted Miss Blimey with emphasized urgency.

"But what do we do?" asked Betty hates Veronica, looking for any kind of direction, preferably towards an exit.

"You grab that cable over there, the blue one and hold it taught for me," replied Miss Blimey, calm as usual under extreme pressure and chaos. With one stroke of her sword Miss Blimey cut the cable. The out of order Mac uttered a simple scream and the light went out of its insane screen.

"There," said Miss Blimey. "It's over, see no panic, no fury".

"Blimey," sighed Betty hates Veronica.

"Yes?" said Miss Blimey and then as they looked at each other they both burst out laughing. "Looks like it's back to vinyl for the Raven," smiled Miss Blimey.

The End
